Myanmar Football Federation, Japan Professional Football League (J-League) and the Japan Foundation Asia Center which jointly organized football clinics from February 10-14 at National Football Academy (Yangon).

The Opening ceremony of the football clinics was held on today morning (February 10) in National Football Academy (Yangon).

AFC vice-president and MFF president U Zaw Zaw, H.E Mr. Ichiro Maruyama who Ambassador from the Embassy of Japan in Myanmar, Albirax Singapore CEO Mr. Namba, Mr. Satou who Chief of Japan Foundation Myanmar, coaches and students were attended to the opening ceremony.

Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw said “Football is not just sport for children but also the cooperation with the health and well-being of children. We would like to thank the Albirex Singapore team for coming up with all the young kids who are starting to play football in Myanmar.”

“Japan-Myanmar relations are very important for both countries. We have a lot to do with Myanmar for the development, as well as football. We are excited to see more progress in Myanmar.” said H.E Mr. Ichiro Maruyama who Japanese Ambassador of Myanmar.
