October 11, 2021The Myanmar international joined the Indian club Gokulam Kerala FC.
India’s Gokulam Kerala signed Myanmar national striker Win Theingi Tun for their AFC Women’s club championship campaign incoming November.
Win Theingi Tun becomes the first ever Myanmar women player to play for the foreign club. The 26 years old striker is ready to make the next step in future with new team in Asian top flight competition.
“Gokulam Kerala FC is the current champion of India League. The team has international experienced head coach and so many talented international players as well. I’m really happy to be moving to this team.” said Win Theingi Tun.
“In my career, I have played four times against India team. It has been seen as a more difficult competitor over and over again. India’s women’s football development is really fast. I’ll try my best with my teammates to success in the Asian Women’s club championship.” She added.
Gokulam Kerala FC is the top Indian women’s football club based in Kozhikode, Kerala. The Team is the current champions of the Indian Women’s League.
Win Theingi Tun is part of the Myanmar national women team squad which is preparing for the AFC Women’s Asian cup qualification and upcoming SEA Games.
